3 - Safety of welding features
1. Radiation damage
Visible and invisible radiation is generated during the welding process. The interaction between the high-power laser beam and the target material to be welded may generate a plasma that produces ultraviolet radiation and "blue light", which may result in conjunctivitis, photochemical damage to the retina or a sunburn-like reaction to the skin. Welders exposed to invisible UV light without proper protection may suffer permanent eye damage.
2. Skin damage
Exposure to infrared and ultraviolet radiation during welding can harm the skin. Infrared and ultraviolet light can cause burns to the skin, increasing the welder's risk of skin cancer and accelerated signs of skin aging. Welding sparks can also cause burns. Laser material processing transfers a large amount of energy into the part. Even after the welding process is complete, parts can be very hot. Ensure that proper personal protective equipment is used to prevent potential burns. Take precautions to prevent skin damage by wearing protective clothing such as fire-resistant gloves, hats, leather aprons and other fire-resistant clothing. Sleeves and collars should be buttoned.
3.Fire hazard
If combustible or flammable materials are in close proximity to the welding area, the heat and sparks generated during the welding process can cause a fire or explosion. Laser welding should only be performed when the area is free of combustible materials. Never weld containers that contain flammable or combustible materials. If the contents of containers are unknown, assume they are flammable or combustible. Fire extinguishers should be located nearby, easily accessible, and have personnel trained in their use.
4.The effects of smoke
Welding "fumes" can consist of very fine particles and gases. Welding fumes and gases come from a combination of the welding material or any filler material used, protective gases used, paints, coatings, chemical reactions and air pollutants. Welding fumes can adversely affect the lungs, heart, kidneys and central nervous system.
(1) Keep your head away from fumes when welding. Always weld in an adequately ventilated area to ensure safe breathing air.
(2) Use a fume exhaust system to remove vapors, particulates, and hazardous debris from the welding process area.
(3) Respirators may also be required in confined spaces and other situations.
(4) Routine air monitoring should be conducted to determine the level of hazardous fumes in the welding area
5.Gas cylinder safety
Gas cylinders can explode if they are damaged or placed near the welding area. Protective gas cylinders should be placed where they will not be struck or damaged. Place them away from heat sources, sparks or flames. Cylinders must be stored in an upright position and secured to a fixed support. A working regulator suitable for the gas and pressure required is required. All hoses and fittings should also be suitable for the application and in good working order.

Notice:
1.Within the recommended power range, the smaller the power, the brighter the weld seam. The higher the power, the more obvious the degree of oxidation on the surface of the weld seam, and the greater the penetration depth
2. The swing width needs to consider the actual weld width and wire diameter
3. The diameter of the welding wire needs to consider the actual weld width and stacking height
requirements
4.Welding speed is directly related to wire feeding speed

Notice:
1. It is recommended to use compressed air as the protective gas. The high pressure makes it easier to blow off welding slag
2. Ensure that all red light is emitted from the mouth of the copper nozzle to avoid burning it out
3. The cutting nozzle is perpendicular to the surface of the material, which will have a better cutting effect
4. Mark the surface of the material or use a backing to make the cutting path more accurate
5. It is recommended to set the maximum power to improve cutting efficiency
